Hope Starts Here: Meet Susan

Susan’s depression spiraled out of control after the dissolution of her 28-year marriage. With the help of her father, she found services that taught her how to better manage her mental illness and addiction. She now works as a peer advocate in our Early Intervention Support Services program and has lent her voice and advocacy skills to help legislators better understand the stigma of mental illness.
