Sandy survivors braved a torrential thunderstorm to participate in the Hurricane Sandy Memorial Wall event! Rep. Thomas MacArthur discussed homeowners’ ongoing issues and acknowledged the dedication of our Disaster Response Program (DRP), the New Jersey Organizing Project and the Visitation Relief Center staff and volunteers.

Star Ledger columnist and author Mark DiIonno recommended that a federal investigation be formed to look into how funds were disbursed by New Jersey state officials. The DRP team provided information and hope to those in attendance, many of whom were happy to hear that our program will be around until the end of 2016.
