CCNJ Hope and Healing Crisis Counseling Program: Catholic Charities of Metuchen, Newark, Paterson and Trenton Dioceses have partnered to administer crisis counseling and information services in response to COVID-19 pandemic to all New Jersey residents. Focusing on children, families and individuals in financial need, this FREE, ANONYMOUS, and CONFIDENTIAL program empowers New Jersey residents impacted by the pandemic and resulting economic crisis to endure, recover and thrive.
This program provides virtual individual and group supports that:

  • Help people understand their hardship and reactions to it.
  • Reduce stress and provide emotional support.
  • Promote the use of coping strategies.
  • Educate people about and connect them with recovery resources.
