This agency’s disaster response program operating in response to COVID-19 Pandemic has demobilized. Thanks to funding provided by FEMA/SAMHSA, in collaboration with the New Jersey Department of Human Services’ Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services (Disaster and Terrorism Branch), and through partnership with Catholic Charities Diocese of Metuchen, Catholic Charities Diocese of Paterson, and Catholic Charities Archdiocese of Newark, this program is pleased to have been able to successfully provide 3,934 individual encounters and 1,148 group encounters to 9,424 participants as well as 54,900 other outreach contacts – totaling 68,258 contacts to COVID-impacted individuals and families. Furthermore, this agency is grateful for a bequest that allowed the program to continue its work to the end of 2022, which allowed the program to reach an additional 500 households.
