Our pioneering Rapid Rehousing program, which has dramatically helped to reduce homelessness in Mercer County, was recognized as a partnering agency in an award given to Mercer County by the National Alliance to End Homelessness in Washington D.C. last week.
According to Mercer County Executive Brian M. Hughes, “the county has reduced its number of homeless families by 70 percent.”
In receiving the award, Hughes said, “We could not have achieved this success without our dedicated partners, and I share this award with our colleagues from the City of Trenton, Mercer Alliance to End Homelessness, Mercer County Board of Social Services and Catholic Charities.”
