Local Artists Restores Statue

Richard Gerster, a sculptor who served as the Modeling Department director at the Johnson Atelier, part of Grounds for Sculpture in Hamilton, beautifully restored the statue of Mary who has kept a watchful eye over Catholic Charities staff and clients for decades. The newly restored statue received a blessing from Msgr. Thomas Gervasio during a special ceremony on December 11.
