Our mission directs us to alleviate human suffering and we do that through a wide variety of services that include behavioural healthcare, domestic violence prevention and treatment, help with basic needs, housing assistance, job training and supported employment, and addiction treatment. We are a non-profit recognized by the Chronicle of Philanthropy as one of the most fiscally efficient in the country, using less than 10 percent of our revenue for administrative costs.




Demand on food banks increasing
Bonnie Jordan and Camille Lopez of Emergency and Community Services were quoted in the most recent edition of The Monitor on the dire situation our food banks are facing as the economy continues to falter.
