Providence House Domestic Violence Services (PHDVS) of Catholic Charities provides comprehensive services for victims of domestic abuse and their children free of charge at outreach offices and emergency safehouses in Burlington and Ocean Counties. Providence House Domestic Violence Services assists victims of domestic abuse and their children with an array of services that include: emergency shelter, a 24 hour hotline, counseling services, a comprehensive children’s program, a parenting support group and a program specifically designed to assist victims age 50 and older. These services are offered at no cost to individuals and are invaluable to victims and their children who are struggling to break free from the cycle of violence in their homes.

These free and confidential services for victims of domestic violence rely upon the generosity of donors and volunteers. Being a part of our team is not only rewarding but life-changing. Help us to end the cycle of violence in our community today.

Providence House is one of the oldest and most comprehensive domestic violence providers in New Jersey and is accredited through the national Council on Accreditation. In Burlington County, PHDVS has been offering services for more than 30 years and for more than 25 in Ocean County.

21ST ANNUAL TASTE OF BURLINGTON COUNTY

Tickets are now on sale for The 21st Annual Taste of Burlington County benefitting Providence House Domestic Violence Services (PHDVS) of Catholic Charities.

The event will be held on Wednesday, October 14 at The Merion in Cinnaminson. Last year's event, which was attended by nearly 450 guests and raised $50,570 to benefit PHDVS, featured samplings from more than 20 restaurants, a gift auction and raffle drawings. We hope this year's event will be even more of a success!

15th ANNUAL GIFT AUCTION RAISES OVER $70,000 

With more than 700 people in attendance, the sold out event raised over $70,800, which will benefit survivors of domestic abuse and their children.

Community collaboration and support were keys to the success of the event. Over 400 gift baskets were raffled off with prizes ranging from small kitchen appliances and gift certificates to local businesses to luxury items like jewelry, electronics, and getaways. The event also featured four 50/50 cash raffle prizes and winners yielded over $5,000. For more information on the event, click here. 



FALL WISH LIST

Providence House Domestic Violence Services of Catholic Charities graciously accepts donations to help maintain its emergency Safe House and provide other needed supplies for residents.

BACK TO SCHOOL, THANKSGIVING AND HOLIDAY WISH LISTS AVAILABLE!

Providence House Domestic Violence Services of Catholic Charities also accepts donations to help with needs at special times of the year, in particular back to school, Thanksgiving and for the holiday season.
